Is This Program Right For Me?
The CISSP Certificate is ideally suited for network security professionals and system administrators with at least 4 years of direct work experience in 1 or more of the 10 test domains, such as access control systems, cryptography, and security management practices. The program is specially designed to prepare you for CISSP certification.The CISSP certificate is ideally suited for IT professionals with the following experience:
  1. Four years of direct full-time security professional work experience in two or more of the domains within the Common Body of Knowledge (CBK) as identified by the (ISC)2.
    • One year of experience can be waived if the student has a bachelor’s or master’s degree in information security from a designated national Center of Excellence identified by the National Security Agency
    • One year of experience can be waived if the student has one of the professional security certifications identified by (ISC)2
    • Note: Students must have an endorsement by an (ISC)2-certified individual who will attest to the student’s experience before the student can take the CISSP certification test through the (ISC)2.
