The Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) Certificate program is designed to provide you with sophisticated knowledge of Cisco network design. Graduates may perform advanced Cisco network design in complex, multilayered enterprise architectures and wireless domains, virtual private networking, and advanced routing and addressing. The program is designed to help you prepare to sit for the CCDP certification, a midlevel professional certification for network design professionals.* This 6-month, online program covers the implementation of EIGRP operations, multiarea OSPF operations, integrating IS-IS, implementing Cisco IOS routing features, implementing BGP for enterprise ISP connectivity, implementing multicast forwarding and IPv6, implementing VLANs, spanning tree protocols in a hierarchical network, implementing inter-VLAN routing, implementing gateway redundancy technologies, configuring wireless client access, configuring security features in a switched network, configuring support for voice, and designing advanced core enterprise networks, an enterprise data center, and security devices.

 Is This Program Right For Me? 

The CCDP Certificate program is ideally suited for IT professionals already working in IT who desire the skills and knowledge necessary to design as well as implement complex networks.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Three years of experience with Cisco equipment and LAN, WAN, and wireless networking is recommended.
  • Valid CCNA and CCDA certifications are required.

 

Students enrolled in the certificate program will complete the following courses:
