Server Administrator Track

  • CT219: Server 2008 Active Directory Configuration

  • This course is designed to teach students how to configure Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Active Directory. Topics include configuring the Domain Name System (DNS) for Active Directory, Active Directory infrastructure, Active Directory Certificate Services, and additional Active Directory server roles, Creating and maintaining Active Directory objects, and maintaining the Active Directory environment. This course is designed to prepare you to take Microsoft Certification Exam 70-640.
  • CT220: Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure Configuration (available May 2010)

  • This course prepares the student configure the Microsoft Windows Server 2008 network infrastructure. Subjects include configuration of IP addressing and services, name resolution, network access and file and print services, and monitoring and managing a network infrastructure. This course is designed to prepare you to take Microsoft Certification Exam 70-642.
  • CT221: Windows Server 2008 Server Administration (available June 2010)

  • The purpose of this course is to teach students to manage and administer a Microsoft Windows Server 2008 platform. The topics of this course include planning for Windows Server deployment and management, monitoring and maintaining a Windows Server, planning for application and data provisioning, and business continuity and high availability planning. This course is designed to prepare you to take Microsoft Certification Exam 70-646.

 

 

Enterprise Administrator Track

  • CT104: Configuring Microsoft Windows Vista Client Operating System

  • This course examines how to install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system. Students will learn how to identify hardware requirements prior to installation, install and migrate processes, configure Windows Vista for optimum usage, and troubleshoot problems with the operating system. This course is designed to prepare you to take Microsoft Certification Exam 70-620.*
  • CT219: Server 2008 Active Directory Configuration

  • This course is designed to prepare students for the configuration of applications infrastructure on a Microsoft Windows Server 2008 platform. The subjects of this course include the deployment of Windows Servers, and the configuration of Terminal Services, Web Services Infrastructure, and Network Application Services. This course is designed to prepare you to take Microsoft Certification Exam 70-643.
  • CT223: Windows Server 2008 Enterprise Administration (available August 2010)

  • The purpose of this course is to prepare students to administer the Microsoft Windows Server 2008 platform in an enterprise environment. Topics include planning network and application services, designing core identity, support identity, and access management components, and business continuity and data availability planning and design. This course is designed to prepare you to take Microsoft Certification Exam 70-647.
