  • Case Management Certificate—The Case Management Certificate is designed to train registered nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, physical therapists, rehabilitation counselors, psychologists, and physicians to better manage a full spectrum of patient care in a variety of health care settings, including acute and long-term care, occupational health, managed care, workers’ compensation, and private practice.*


  • Forensic Nursing Certificate—Intended as a continuing education program for registered nurses, the Forensic Nursing Certificate is designed to provide the foundational knowledge and practical skills needed to address the health care needs of law enforcement agencies and criminal justice departments.

  • Geriatric Care Management Certificate—The Geriatric Care Management Certificate is designed for health and human services professionals, including registered nurses, social workers, occupational and physical therapists, rehabilitation counselors, and physicians, who are interested in delivering quality care and optimizing the lifestyles of the elderly and their families.


  • Legal Nurse Consulting Certificate—The Legal Nurse Consulting Certificate, a continuing education program for registered nurses, allows you to combine your nursing skills with legal knowledge to assist attorneys and their clients in understanding the health care issues related to legal actions.

  • Medical Office Management Certificate—The Medical Office Management Certificate is designed to provide you with the administrative knowledge necessary to pursue a career as a competent, confident, and successful medical office manager.* Medical office managers have an astute knowledge of state and federal health care regulations and medical insurance requirements, as well as medical terminology, medical records management, basic billing practices, insurance coding, and financial management.


  • Medical Transcription Certificate—The Medical Transcription Certificate is designed to help prepare you to pursue an entry-level position as a medical transcriptionist and navigate future changes in the field of medical transcription.* You will review relevant grammar and punctuation skills and study the proper way to format and proofread medical records.


  • Veterinary Assistant Certificate—This online certificate program could help prepare you to pursue an entry-level position in a veterinary office/hospital, kennel, animal shelter, or research facility. In these settings you may have the opportunity to assist veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and veterinary technologists. The KCE program features an introduction to the veterinary profession and the job requirements a veterinary assistant will encounter, such as office and exam room procedures, animal health and diseases, lab and diagnostic procedures, surgical assisting, medications, and animal nursing.
