Education’s IT offerings now include CompTIA computer, network, server support,
and computer security training, and its allied health offerings now include an Administrative Dental Assistant
Certificate.
Fort Lauderdale, FL, October
18, 2010—Kaplan Continuing Education (KCE), a leader in online career education, announced the
addition of five new online certificate programs: four for CompTIA
training (CompTIA A+ Certificate, CompTIA Network+ Certificate,
CompTIA Server+ Certificate, and CompTIA Security+ Certificate) and one for administrative dental assistant training.
Each of the CompTIA programs could be completed in as little as 2 months.
Students also have the option to complete the accompanying CompTIA certificates, which can be completed in 9 month
or less, depending on the number of certificates selected.
The administrative dental assistant
program centers around the operation of a dental office. The
program, which could be completed in 6 months or less, is designed to prepare
students to coordinate all of the administrative
duties for managing the business aspects of a dental practice.
“The online CompTIA certificate
programs, including the
network security program, were developed to provide our students with
skills in systems and network support and to help them prepare for the certification
exams to begin their pursuit of a new career. Our health care programs now include
an Administrative Dental
Assistant Certificate that will enable students to develop the skills to
coordinate all of the administrative duties for managing the business aspects
of a dental practice,” said Ron Trautman, President of Kaplan Continuing
Education. “All five programs are developed by Kaplan Continuing Education
faculty and industry professionals to help prepare students for future
careers.”
